Our friends, Josh (Cheif) and Heather, got married yesterday out in San Marcos. Here's Chief, 5 minutes pre-ceremony. The men, looking slick in shades. Chief and his mom. The adorable flower girl. Heather and her pops. Exchanging vows...You may now kiss the bride! The 1st Dance. The flower arrangements were gorgeous, so we brought one home. :)
Sometime last week, THIS boy....... Swallowed THIS object. Xrays on Wednesday showed it was stuck in his intestines. That night we prayed for poop. He was nicknamed Poopert.
He had surgery on Thursday; came home lookin like this...
Oooooo that hurts!
Makes no difference to him, he still expects bellyrubs! He is a little wary of the object though.... Cowboy's been playing nurse. He cleans Ru's eyes, ears and jowls. He also cleans up any of the special food that drops from Rupert's mouth.
Hopefully Rupert has learned a lesson from this. I know I have....GET INSURANCE!
Oh how I love this little guy. It's hard to believe he's already two! Today we took him on a nature walk through Rose Canyon, he loved it. I made homemade treats and both boys got warm cream cheese mixed in with their meals today. Happy Birthday, my little CowMan!
Well we should've known we were in for trouble when we saw how much Ru liked the trashcan we use for garden trimmings.... But who could imagine such a sweetie pie like this.... Would do something like this..... And to the people who gave him a forever home, care for him daily and provide him with endless treats and bellyrubs! Hmmph, so much for being appreciated. Rotten Rupert strikes again!
